Stephanie is a writer of fiction, non-fiction, criticism and commentary. She writes about feminism, politics, Indigenous Australia, literature, road-trips and people.
Her work can be found in Meanjin, the ABC Drum, Overland Literary Journal, the Melbourne Writers Festival blog, harvest, the EWF Reader, Voiceworks, and various Monash University-based literary romps. She appeared as a guest of the Emerging Writers’ Festival in 2009 and 2011, and Cherchez la Femme in 2011.
She is currently completing her first novel – a magical realist drama set in the Australian tropics, tentatively titled Swallowing Mud.
