Feminism is a recognition of oppression/power imbalance that specifically disfavours women, &lt;i&gt;because of&lt;/i&gt; their sex.  &lt;i&gt;This&lt;/i&gt; is where the prejudice lies - the sexism - not in the articulation of a favour towards politics that promote awareness of it and change accordingly.
